Winter 2020 I started a new chapter in my life and took a big risk. I bought my first foal and heavy horse. After speaking with several friends, we were offered a beautiful little filly called Kolga Du Crétil. She was bred by Laurent Masson in France and the sale was supported by Virginia Kouyoumdjian. So, within a week of seeing a few photos, Kolga was on route to become my new best friend! She is known at home as KoogeeBoogie.
She is now rising 5 and has started her ridden career and will be trained for driving and pulling in the near future.

In 2024 we welcomed our 2nd Percheron to the team - Whitelion Olivia - known at home as Livi-Loulou. She is an older mare now rising 8 but is as green as grass. Over the winter she has been learning to long rein and has been working in hand with Andy and has been lightly backed. Andy hopes to be able to do some harness work with Livi in the future as well as hacking in the Peak Districk.

We should introduce ourselves too! I am Josie and my Husband is Andy. We have had horses for a very long time and got the Heavy Horse Bug within minutes of KoogeeBoogie bouncing into our lives!
We are both engineers and when we aren't playing horses we are usually found underneath our Land Rovers busy welding away! We have rebuild several Range Rovers and at least 1 full rebuild of our Ford Cargo horsebox and numerous ramps!
We work well as a team and we are always willing to learn and to help and lend a hand to anyone who needs it!
We are both Members of the British Percheron Horse Society and Midland Heavy Horse Association. Josie is also a Trustee in the British Percheron Horse Society and a committee Member of the MHHA.
We have been welcomed into the world of Heavy Horses with open arms and we are pleased to be able to share our beautiful perky Percherons with you all!
